EJ Walker (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Lewisham, London. At the moment, they’re working to develop their skills as a technician, lighting and sound designer, composer and writer. They have just been awarded an MA in Collaborative Performance Making from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature with Creative Writing from UEA. They are interested in the use of sound and music to influence tone, mood and immersive qualities within theatre. They once starred in a secondary school musical production as an earthworm, and it is their crowning achievement, in their opinion.
In this blog/ portfolio, you will find…
Details on all five (5) of the main projects I undertook during my MA in Collaborative Performance Making from Guildhall;
Details on a selection of recent freelance, collaborative and personal projects I’ve both set myself and been brought onto in a creative capacity.
I also do a lot of Venue Technician work, though this isn’t elaborated upon in this portfolio. This includes…
Technical work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with TheSpaceUK @ Niddry St;
Freelance Technician work with Canal Café Theatre and ‘NewsRevue’
See INDEX (at the bottom of this page) for more details on where to find my recent work in certain disciplines!
HARK! Some things to consider before you proceed!
I am very anti-generative AI, and strive to be as accessible and inclusive as possible. As such, if you notice anything off in this website, AI-wise or accessibility/ inclusion/ credit-wise, please let me know!
I would strongly suggest viewing this website via a desktop, as opposed to a mobile device!
